Phoenix, Arizona – May 1, 2017 – The culmination of inspiration, dreams, and design has come together to create Crismon Gateway Village. This all begun in 2012 as the East Valley specifically and retail market in general, awakened with promise for the future. Fast forward five years later, the new upscale mixed use retail and restaurant development on Crismon and Baseline Roads add Crismon Gateway Village is ready to break ground. The Silver Shovel ceremony is set to take place on May 3, 2017 at 8:30am on the Northeast corner of Crismon Rd. & Baseline Rd. in Mesa, Arizona.

SVN Advisors, Mary Nollenberger, Rommie Mojahed, and Eddie Gonzalez represent the development owner, Rick Richmond.  Nollenberger said, “We have been intentional about focusing our efforts on gathering a collection of the most unique and highly sought after businesses to provide our loyal community of followers a place to relax, renew, and call home, close to home.”

Richmond stated, “Our goal is to break down barriers and create an environment where the community comes together. We believe the design is timeless”  Gonzalez added, “The village will be a great place for a local dinner/wine bar, a nightlife concept, or unique fitness specialties such as yoga or martial arts to add to the mix of other retailers.”

On Wednesday morning, the Ground Breaking Silver Shovel ceremony will include the commercial real estate development team, committed tenants, community representatives, friends of the village and media is always welcome, of course.

The upscale development will be under construction from May till approximately September or October.  With Banner Hospital, LDS Church, and Eastmark / DMB Development (7 Home Builders) completing Phase 1 with over 1,450 homes in the area, Crismon Gateway Village will be a center point for everyone in that area looking for a place to relax.  “DMB Development’s commitment and presence is a ringing endorsement and confirms our research that East Mesa is a happening place,” said owner Richmond. The architecture alone with the roll-up front doors will be an even better attraction to their visitors. Dane Astle with Architekton proudly stated, “This is no ordinary retail center. From the building materials, lighting, to site circulation, this facility is designed to create a positive and memorable experience for its patrons.”

The developer, architects, and marketing team associated with the project reside in Mesa and the East Valley. “The theme “It Takes a Village” refers to the intent for the development to serve as a community gathering place close to home for the residents in the Eastmark, Gateway, trade area in communities experiencing explosive growth and resurgence,” said Mary Nollenberger.  Rick Richmond has lived in the valley of the sun for 23 years and last 6 years in Mesa. His love for the city has been an inspiration and he personally wanted the local neighborhood to be proud of having their own special place to shop, meet and greet!
