Phoenix, Arizona – January 29, 2020 – Phoenix native, marketing and media personality Melissa Swader was recently named ‘2020 Influencers in Marketing’ by Globe St./Real Estate Forum magazine in New York.  She was the only recipient out of the 2 dozen from Arizona to be recognized in this category.  She has been a featured press writer, social media influencer and blogger both on local Arizona channels as well as national media outlets for her role as Director of Marketing, PR & Administration for SVN Desert Commercial Advisors.

Swader has been with the local SVN Phoenix office just shy of her 5th year anniversary and is most recognized for going LIVE behind the scenes at client grand openings, media events and addressing the latest marketing trends on your podcast show, Real Talk, Real Business, Real People.  Her new series, “Tuesday Tips” can be watched on social media providing some expert advice in business, marketing and PR.  While her main topic of conversation is commercial real estate, she does provide helpful tips in business and marketing expertise in all areas.  The Director of Marketing stated, “The best way to tell the story is getting that information in person.  I spend a lot of time in the field, even on my own time building strong media and client relationships.”  Swader is responsible for creating and implementing the marketing strategies, social media campaigns, digital and video marketing productions.  She also designs all the custom slides for the social media posts including the video production slide decks for the top brokerage in Phoenix.  “I share transactional news, industry acknowledgements, listing features and more through innovative designs and technology,” said Swader.  “If they are out there building platforms, you can bet that I will be using as many as I can to share the news about our brokers and our firm to everyone across the country.”

In the latter part of 2019, Swader published a well-received commercial real estate story covering the City of Mesa’s booming economic development in the east valley.  She spoke with the Director of Economic Development, William Jabjiniak along with obtaining quotes from Mayor John Giles that gained national readership.  On the same day and other side of the valley, she was out in Surprise covering a ground breaking ceremony with a SVN client, taking “selfies” with the Mayor of Surprise, Skip Hall.  Swader, an advocate for small business and entrepreneurship also gives back to her community.  A proud Arizona State University alumnus also serves on the Executive Board with Sun Devil Family Charities; helping Sun Devil families through medical financial hardships.  Just last week, Swader was an invited guest to a social media campaign event known as the “InstaGrammys” by the City of Tempe.  Government employee, Kris Baxter welcomed her as a guest and had the chance to interview the City of Tempe’s Mayor Mark Mitchell regarding the photography awards. The social media winners were chosen based on the most beautiful photography of the City of Tempe.  They even had one to recognize the economic development of Tempe.

“Marketing & PR is a puzzle of many pieces that are assembled daily based on the instinctive abilities of understanding how to build a company brand,” said the award winner.
