She was also recently recognized for the writer behind SVN as one of the TOP 10+ CRE national bloggers providing transaction news on closed transactions at the brokerage. In addition, her blog covering land opportunities for investors was also acknowledged as one of the top blogs of November 2017. Swader is not a novice to publishing either. She had her business license before graduating from Arizona State University with her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts. Swader has approximately 20 years combined experience in marketing, graphic design, editing, advertising and public relations. She was a previous exclusive business magazine publisher/editor and continues to be a small business advocate for business owners, hosts quarterly business events for small local business owners and hosts secondary events for women in business to encourage, motivate and provide expert insight into strategizing business growth development.
Not only is Swader the Director of Marketing, she is also responsible for and directs all the administration at the SVN brokerage. She balances the administration, marketing, and PR on a daily basis. “Melissa’s list of marketing talents seems endless. She has put into motion a very detailed, strategic, scheduled plan of action for the advisors at SVN that put and keep them marketed as they achieve,” senior advisor Jennifer Hill stated. “She’s a machine, churning out the right stuff to fuel the growth of each individual, branding them and the company along the way. Swader will be recognized this April in a room full of other women honorees who according to the Phoenix Business Journal are trailblazing the valleys business community, as mentors, influencers and visionaries. The 15-year tradition continues to support the growing strength of business women and believe they are essential to the valley’s community success. Speaking of tradition, on a personal note Swader will also be acknowledged in February at the Gila River Arena to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the St. Mary’s High School girls basketball team’s first ever State Championship. Saint Mary’s also has a long tradition of educating some of Arizona’s most successful citizens, including prominent members of the business community and professional athletes. Swader, also an alumnus was on the full coaching staff when they took home the big prize at Arizona State University’s Wells Fargo Arena back in the early 90’s.
